Many of our members were introduced to the breed after seeing them in the show ring – it is a great shop window.
The Llanwenog’s striking, substantial presence and ease of handling makes it the ideal show sheep. There are dedicated Llanwenog Classes at the Three Counties Show in Malvern, elsewhere, the breed tends to fall into ‘Other Native’ or ‘Hill & Heath’ Categories.
We are keen to encourage as many of you as possible to show off your sheep and to assist, the Support Group show stand is available to anyone wanting a bit more presence; simply contact the Secretary to make arrangements. |
